Getting Started

Step 1:

Scheduling your Family's Future Planning Session

To get started, click the "Schedule Now" button at the bottom of this page to schedule your Family's Future Planning Session.

These are 2 hour working meetings where we'll discuss everything that would happen under your current planning (or what will happen under the government's plan if you currently don't have your own plan).

If you'd prefer to schedule by phone or have any questions before scheduling, please feel free to call our office at 469-607-9705 or click the "Schedule Now" button at the bottom of this page to book a specific time for a free 15-minute phone consultation.

The Family's Future Planning Session costs $750, but we are pleased to offer you that Session at no charge if you are willing to do two things for us:

1) Complete the pre-meeting homework explained below and return it at least 3 business days before your Session, and;

2) Reserve your appointment time with a credit card and keep your scheduled time.  We require 7 days notice of cancellations, but of course we will understand if you have an illness, emergency, etc.

If you schedule and aren't able to meet the two conditions, we would need to charge you the $750 Session fee, but we will apply that fee to any future work we do together.

Step 2:
Complete Pre-Meeting Homework

Once you schedule this meeting, you'll receive a link to complete your Pre-Meeting Homework. This work will help you get more financially organized than you've ever been. It will also provide us with the financial and family information we'll need to accurately design a plan together that specifically fits the needs of your family.

This part of the process generally takes 30-60 minutes, but don't worry--your best effort is good enough.  We can work from there.

After you complete the homework, most of your heavy lifting will be done!  And if you have an existing plan, you can upload it with your homework and I'll review that before our Session as well.

Step 3:

Meet with your Attorney to Design and Implement your New Plan

During your Family's Future Planning Session, we'll both evaluate whether there is a good fit between you and our firm. If we decide to move forward, you'll choose the fee based on what services you want. We'll design your new plan together during this session.

At the Planning Session, we'll schedule a one-hour Signing Meeting about four weeks out.  That's when your plan will be ready to sign. After signing, your plan will be in effect in case anything were to happen.

Four weeks after this, we'll have a one-hour Final Meeting to deliver your estate planning binder, ensure your assets are owned and titled in the right way, answer any final questions and create a way for you to pass on your wisdom, ideas, experiences and dreams to your family.
